The plane of the French airline Air France, flying from Paris to Ho Chi Minh city (Vietnam), was forced to return to point of departure due to the lack of permission for entering the airspace of Russia, according to radio Europe 1, citing a passenger liner.

The incident occurred the day before. According to 28-the summer passenger of Charlotte, a few hours after takeoff, the captain announced that permission to fly over Russian territory was not available and that the plane returned to Paris.

«We were surprised, I’ve never heard of the other passengers, too,» — said the interlocutor of the radio station. The captain also admitted that he had not previously encountered similar situations.

The airline radio station confirmed that the plane was actually forced to return to Paris, but found it difficult to answer why he was not allowed to enter in Russian airspace. As suggested in Air France, the culprit was «computer error».
