The Ministry of agriculture of Russia has imposed a ban on the catch of mullet (singila, sharp-nosed and striped mullet) in the Black sea until the end of the current year, reported RIA Novosti the representative of the Azov-black sea territorial administration Rosrybolovstva.
According to him, the recommended volume for the production of mullet in 2018 was estimated at about 433 tons.
«In connection with the development of volumes for this year, by order of the Ministry of agriculture banned catching of mullet in the Black sea until December 31 of the current year», — said the Agency interlocutor.
He said that the fishing in scientific and educational goals are determined by individual quotas, so this prohibition does not apply to them.
The Crimean border guard service of Russia warned about the unauthorised fishing in the period of its zimovane.
«In order to comply with the legislation by staff of the border management and interacting bodies planned joint raids, during which the perpetrators of compliance with the established prohibitions will be brought to justice», — stated in the message.
