A criminal case on causing death by negligence was filed after the death of a stuntman, who drove a tank during the filming of a war film in the Kaluga region, told RIA Novosti lawyer Andrei Mironov that represents the interests of the parents of the deceased.

About a week ago, Russia’s Investigative Committee reported that the tank ran over a stuntman on the set of the film in the Kaluga region, the man died on the way to the hospital.

According to the report, 31-year-old Muscovite was killed on the territory of the inactive airfield in the town of Medyn in Kaluga region. According to preliminary data, shooting was involved in two tanks. «Today, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under part 2 of article 109 of the criminal code (Causing death by negligence due to improper performance of their professional duties) upon the death of a stuntman Oleg Shilkina,» explained Milonov.
