The idea of exemptions from the legislation of the term «adoptive parents» and replace it with the term «paid care» for the children themselves and parents will not change anything, but might help to avoid confusion in the wording, according to the Chairman of the Duma Committee on family, women and children by Oksana Poushkina.

Previously, the Agency «Moscow» reported with reference to a member of the interim Commission of the Federation Council on preparation of proposals on improvement of the Family code of the Russian Federation Elena Popov that in the Federation Council discusses the amendments. Later head of the temporary Committee Elena Mizulina said that the first meeting of the Commission will be held November 6, so it is premature to talk about some legislative initiatives.

«Maybe the idea is to have three forms — adoption, guardianship, foster family and twin — adoption and guardianship. But, in fact, for kids and parents, nothing will change. Apparently, people are not confused, really. The difference between adoptive parents and paid carers not. A matter of wording, I think,» said Pushkin RIA Novosti.

She explained that, under current law, the foster family is a form of paid care. Therefore, said Pushkin, the difference is only in the title.
