Rostovchanin faces up to five years in prison for the message about «mining» station

Law enforcement officers have directed to court criminal case against a resident of the city of Shakhty of the Rostov region declared «mining» railway station, the southern transport Prosecutor’s office.

According to the Ministry, in August this year 33‑year-old local resident in a state of intoxication called to the duty part of the police and informed about the impending explosion at the railway station station «Mine». A criminal case was opened under article «Knowingly false report about an act of terrorism.»

«After the confirmation of the indictment criminal case was sent to the Shakhty town court of the Rostov region for consideration in essence», — stated in the message of Prosecutor’s office.

Article sanction for knowingly false report about an act of terrorism carries a maximum penalty of imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years.
