Re-imposed sanctions against Iran will remain in place as long as the enclosed new deal Washington, said Donald trump.

«We urge the regime (government of Iran — ed.) to abandon its nuclear ambitions, to change their destructive behavior, to respect the rights of their own people and in good faith to return to the negotiating table. We seek cooperation of our allies and partners in these efforts,» the statement reads.

According to trump, the United States remains committed to achieving a new, more comprehensive deal with Iran, «which will forever block his path to nuclear weapons, will affect the entire spectrum of its malicious actions and will be worthy of the Iranian people».

Trump once again called a «catastrophic» nuclear deal «six» and Iran from 2015, from which the US emerged this year.

He recalled that since the fifth of November the United States completed the process of re-imposition of all sanctions in effect against Iran before the conclusion of the agreement. In particular, a new round of sanctions on Monday will affect the banking sector, energy, shipping and shipbuilding in Iran.

«The most severe sanctions»

«These measures, combined with 19 rounds of sanctions in January 2017 were the most severe sanctions that the U.S. has ever imposed against Iran. They are already having a devastating impact on the Iranian economy,» said trump, adding that the national currency of Iran has depreciated over the year by 70%, inflation in October was 37%, and the economy starts a recession.

The American leader again threatened consequences to those countries and companies that do not stop business with Iran in response to US actions. «Governments and companies have to wonder whether the merits of risk continued transactions with Iran,» the statement reads.

Trump again stated that sanctions directed against the government, not the citizens of Iran, although the recession affected primarily the common people. «Food, medicines, medical equipment and agricultural products to Iran have long been exempted from the sanctions», — he added.

The US withdrawal from the Iranian deal

In may, trump announced that Washington is out of agreement with Iran on its nuclear program. He also reported the return of all sanctions against Iran including secondary, that is, against other countries doing business with Iran.

Once again, the U.S. has put into effect with August the seventh part of the sanctions against Iran. The more significant sanctions that would cover oil exports, is expected to be the fifth of November.
