Former Secretary of the UK Cabinet office sir Jeremy Heywood died Sunday at the age of 56, according to a press release on the government website.

In a joint press release, Prime Minister Theresa may and the current Cabinet Secretary mark Sedwill has brought condolences to the family and friends of Heywood.

«This is incredibly sad news, my thoughts are with the family and friends of Jeremy… We will miss him dearly, I offer my deepest condolences to (wife) Suzanne, his children and all his family and friends,» said Mae in a statement.

Successor Heywood Sedwill added that «Jeremy has made an invaluable contribution to public life with dignity and he worked with four Prime Ministers.» «Words cannot Express how we will miss him, without his advice, an incredible insight and guidance we will become poorer. He has set the highest standards and made us meet,» said Sedwill.

Jeremy Heywood has served as Secretary of the Cabinet of great Britain in 2012. He retired on 24 October 2018.

Lord Heywood worked tirelessly to serve our country in the finest traditions of the Civil Service and he is a huge loss to British public life.
