Burned down the house in Khakassia, where the family of the Deputy of the Parliament of the Republic and former candidate for the post of head of the region Oleg Ivanov, said Valentin Konovalov (Communist party), which remained the only contender for the position of head of the Republic.

«Early this morning burned the house where the family lives Oleg Ivanov – Deputy of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Khakassia, Chairman of the Committee on budget and tax policy, our close ally. The house was built personally by Oleg Albertovich, from the first logs. According to eyewitnesses, the fire started at a home located near the woodshed where there is the electric wiring» — he wrote in the social network «Vkontakte».

The message indicates that victims have lost property, money and documents. In the attached video Ivanov told against the background of burnt buildings, which will not change approaches to work.

In a regional emergency Department confirmed the fire, but did not specify who owns the house, the message about the fire in two private dwelling houses in Abakan entered 06.01 (02.01 MSK). Upon arrival the fire was burning veranda, sauna and outbuildings on the area of 116 square meters. For extinguishing of open burning took about 40 minutes, and the complete elimination of the consequences of fire took two hours. The preliminary cause of the fire is violation of safety rules during operation of the furnace. To clarify all the circumstances of the fire, staff will work test fire laboratory.

Oleg Ivanov was nominated for the election of the head of Khakassia Republic from the Party of pensioners.

The second round of elections in the Republic of Khakassia is scheduled for November 11. In the first round of elections on 9 September was attended by the then acting head of Khakassia Victor Zimin (received 32.42% of the vote), Konovalov (44,81%), Andrey Fishin from the CP (at 11.23%) and Alexander Mahar from the Party of growth (6.61 percent). Later Zimin withdrew from the elections, and then became known as Filyagin, which was to participate in the second round along with Konovalov, withdrew his candidacy. The second round of elections was scheduled for October 21. Mahar, 15 Oct said that will not participate in the second round.
