An earthquake of magnitude 5.1 occurred in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous region in Northwest China, according to Chinese seismological centre.

Tremors have been fixed in 5.36 (0.36 MSK) local time in the city of Artush in the Kyzylsu-Kyrgyz Autonomous district. The epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 22 kilometers.

Information on destructions and victims did not arrive yet.
