More than 600 people took part in the flashmob in Moscow to mark national unity Day, organized by the «Youth front», reported the press service of the Russian popular front.

The event was held in Victory Park near the Central Museum of the great Patriotic war.

«The flash mob is part of the nationwide «Russia is us,» but this year, in addition to the flash mob in Moscow turned more and tasting the national dishes of Russian, Tatar, Caucasus», — stated in the message.

Atmosphere of holiday was created by presenter and DJ, entertainers in traditional costumes and creative teams. Guests of the event told the story of the Day of national unity.

Since 2005 November 4, Russia celebrates the national unity Day. The celebratory date was established in memory of the events of 1612, when the militia led by Kuzma Minin and Dmitry Pozharsky liberated Moscow from Polish invaders. Historically this holiday is connected with the end of the time of Troubles in Russia in the XVII century. Russia welcomes the annual celebration of national unity Day mass marches and rallies.
