The police in the near future intends to submit to court a criminal case against the suspects in the assassination of the mayor of Kherson Catherine Gandzyuk, said on Sunday the press service of the national police of Ukraine.
Gandzyuk that summer, unknown poured concentrated sulfuric acid on Sunday died in hospital. The police confirmed the fact of her death, now militiamen carry out investigative actions at the hospital in Kiev.
According to the report, the case was requalified to article about the attempted murder. «As part of the investigation… detained a group of persons reasonably suspected of committing this crime. The investigation is practically completed, and in the near future materials will be sent to the court,» — said the police.
The police adds that the investigation to establish who ordered, on the initiative of the General Prosecutor by the security Service of Ukraine.
Now in the hospital, where he died Gandzyuk, the police carried out the examination and initial investigations, after the conclusion of the examination of the causes of death will be given a legal qualification.
