USA will pay the price for out of the deal with Iran on its nuclear program, said in an interview with RIA Novosti former aide to President Barack Obama on the Middle East Robert Malley.

«I think the administration made a huge mistake. Whatever the goal against Iran, this is not the way to achieve it», — he said.

In his opinion, it is the administration’s decision would set a dangerous precedent, and those who come on shift can also start to reexamine the trump decision in case of disagreement.

«Many administrations that come to power in the United States or other countries, even if they do not agree with the decision taken by their predecessor or predecessors, for any international transaction, showed a certain respect. They knew that it would set a precedent: if they leave, it means that the other may withdraw from the transaction which they conclude. If tomorrow trump will make a deal with any country, does this mean that their success will be simply an episode, from which others can quickly retreat?», — said a former senior representative of the American administration, and now President of the «International crisis group».

‘malley explained that «there are natural limitations in the international plan, which everyone knows: if you come out of the transaction, there is no guarantee that the one that will make you be respected in the future.»

«So I think, USA will pay the price for exit from the transaction», — the expert added.

In addition, he believes that Iran currently has a certain superiority: «Iran and the rest of the world against the United States, not the United States and the rest of the world against Iran. But it was not until the conclusion of the nuclear deal».

«And will still have to pay for out of the deal, negotiations of which was conducted in a multilateral format. She was also endorsed by the security Council (UN). I think the signal for all those countries that signed the deal or who believe that it was good to try to do everything possible that it survived in spite of and in the absence of the United States,» — said malli.

The President of the United States Donald trump announced in may that Washington is out of agreement with Iran on its nuclear program. He also reported the return of all sanctions against Iran including secondary, that is, against other countries doing business with Iran. Once again, the U.S. has enacted on August 7 some of the sanctions against Iran. The more significant sanctions that would cover oil exports, are expected on 5 November. Washington has said it aims to bring Iranian oil exports down to zero and urged its customers to abandon such purchases.
