First in Eastern Crimea, the Museum of wine In Vino Veritas opened in Koktebel is an interactive and educational space, announced RIA Novosti, one of the organizers of the project, the head of the Center for wine education «wine Lab» Dmitry Kovalev.

The Museum was opened on Sunday in the framework of the second festival of wine and gastronomy Nearfest. An interactive space dedicated to the history and modern winemaking Russia. «This is the first in the Eastern Crimea’s wine Museum. In the Museum you can learn the basics of winemaking and viticulture, explore ancient artifacts, the oldest of which goes back to the XIV century», — said Kovalev.

According to him, visitors to the Museum also were able to try five Crimea, Sevastopol and the Kuban wines under the original gastronomy. On the first day of work the Museum was visited by 300 residents and guests in Koktebel.

«The idea of the festival came after the creation of the wine and food festival In Vino Veritas. We decided that we need year-round platform. We believe that the Crimea is more and more becoming a year-round resort. Tourists here have to go fall, and winter,» — said Kovalev.

Festival #Nearfest took place in the period of completion of the harvest and maturation of the young wine. These days the wine industry of the Crimea was open to all who wish to become acquainted with the legendary plants, as well as young promising industries. #Nearfest recognized as the best gastronomic event in Russia in 2017.
