Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said that Iran will continue to sell its oil, despite sanctions from the United States, reports channel Press TV.

«The US themselves admitted about his failure to stop Iranian oil because they are unable to find a replacement… Imagine, even if they would not have offered exemptions (on the purchase of oil — ed.) for some countries, we would sell our oil. We have such an opportunity,» Rouhani said in an interview.

«We’ll get around the cruel and illegal sanctions with honor, because these sanctions are wrong, they are contrary to international law», — he said.

The fifth of November enter into force the sanctions against Iran. Sanctions would cover oil exports. Washington has said it aims to bring Iranian oil exports down to zero and urged its customers to abandon such purchases.

Previously, the Agency Bloomberg with reference to an unnamed representative of the presidential administration of the USA of Donald trump announced that the United States has agreed to let eight countries, including India, Japan and South Korea, continue to purchase Iranian oil after sanctions against Iran.

The President of the United States Donald trump announced in may that Washington is out of agreement with Iran on its nuclear program. He also reported the return of all sanctions against Iran including secondary, that is, against other countries doing business with Iran. Once again, the U.S. has enacted on August 7 some of the sanctions against Iran.
