Special representative of Russian President for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Mikhail Bogdanov received the Ambassador of Qatar in Moscow Fahd al-Attya, the parties discussed the situation in the Persian Gulf and Syria, said the Russian foreign Ministry.

«The sides discussed a number of topical issues of further development of multifaceted Russian-Qatari relations, as well as key aspects of middle East issues with an emphasis on the evolving situation in Syria, the Palestinian territories and the Persian Gulf,» — said the foreign Ministry.

The Russian foreign Ministry said that the AGREEMENT is fully justified and proved its effectiveness. Russia also condemned the «new and destructive actions of the United States» that worsen global security and strike a powerful blow to the Treaty on the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons.
