The entry of Buryatia in the far Eastern Federal district will not affect the implementation of Federal programs on the preservation of lake Baikal, and, perhaps, improve them, told reporters the head of Buryatia Alexey Tsydenov.
The fourth of November it became known that Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the transfer of Buryatia and Zabaykalsky Krai of the Siberian Federal district the far Eastern Federal district. According to the document, the government was instructed within three months to bring their acts in compliance with this decree.
«The decision will not affect the fate of the Federal target programs for development and preservation of lake Baikal. As far as lake Baikal, nothing changes. National projects and Federal target programs have been, and still are, and we as they were, and still are, and maybe there is still somewhere and will parastem,» tsydenov said.
He noted that joining DFO in geographical terms Buryatia Republic nothing will change.
