Almost 11 tonnes of cheese to the Russian farmers have acquired guests of the festival in honor of national unity Day in Moscow, they became the most popular product in the Chalet of the event, told RIA Novosti news Agency in the organizing Committee of the cycle of urban street events «Moscow seasons» on Wednesday.

Festival «unity Day» dedicated to the culture and traditions of the regions and peoples of Russia was held in Moscow from 3 to 5 November on the grounds of the festival «Moscow seasons». As previously reported RIA Novosti news Agency in the organizing Committee with reference to the Deputy mayor of Moscow, head of the office of the mayor and the Moscow government Natalya Sergunina, this year the festival was attended by about 1.9 million Muscovites and guests of the city.

First place in sales took cheeses: three days sold nearly 11 tons of cheese made with contemporary and classic recipes – all this diversity provided the Russian farmers», — said the organizers.

In addition, the «catch» of Fishing visitors of the fair was nearly 3.5 tons. Special demand chilled fish — it was bought more than six tons, on the second place is occupied by frozen fish guests have purchased nearly a ton, it also sold more than 750 pounds of fish smoked.

Also the festival has sold more than 10.7 thousand of hot dishes, cooked according to national recipes, and more than 3.7 million liters of hot tea and coffee.
