The Ingush authorities intend to revive the sparsely populated village on the border with the Chechen Republic, the first of them plan to revive the village of Datta in the Sunzha district of the Republic, the press service of the regional government.

The head of Ingushetia, Yunus-Bek Yevkurov and Ramzan Kadyrov has signed 26 September an agreement on the definition of the boundary between their regions, which provides for an equivalent exchange of territories. The parliaments of Chechnya and Ingushetia approved the border agreement. October 16 the law came into force.

On Wednesday a border village of Datta Alkun was visited by the Prime Minister of Ingushetia, Yevloyev Zalimhan that at a meeting with heads of regional ministries and agencies said that the primary goal is to return residents to the village of Datta, who left in the turbulent years.

«The Republic’s leadership decided to revive the village. The development of sparsely populated border villages in Ingushetia, an important thing that you need to take responsibly,» — leads the press service quoted the Prime Minister.

«In the area are excellent conditions for development of private farms. I have no doubt that there are people willing to create farming and producing environmental products,» said Yevloyev.

It is noted that he instructed the regional Ministry of economic development within one month to prepare proposals on socio-economic development of border villages of the Sunzha district.
