Preparation of the project «Russian house» in Davos, Switzerland is going as planned, despite the refusal of the invitation to the forum a number of Russian businessmen, told RIA Novosti in the Fund «Recongress».

The world economic forum in Davos will be held from 22 to 25 January. Earlier, the Financial Times reported, citing two experts, «with knowledge of the situation» that businessmen Oleg Deripaska, Victor Vekselberg and the head of VTB Andrey Kostin has refused to participate in the next session of the forum. The WEF did not comment on this post.

«Preparation of the project «Russian house» in Davos is being implemented as planned. Given the interest in the area from the Russian and international business in 2018, it was decided to increase the number of working areas for business negotiations and meetings. Special attention is paid to formation of the saturated business program, is actively working at the invitation of the Russian and international speakers and experts. Also, we develop various formats of cultural and sports programs of the «Russian house»,» the Fund says.

«Recongise» reminded that the Fund and the world economic forum for several years associated with partnership, and a Memorandum of cooperation was signed within the Petersburg international economic forum in 2017.

«Organization «Russian house» as an official Russian residence will be a continuation of the line of partnership and identify new growth areas and directions of development of the key discussion platforms in the world», — noted in «Recongise».

«Russian house» is a platform for the promotion of Russian initiatives among representatives of the international business and official circles, gathering in Davos, Switzerland. The status of the official residence of the «Russian house» was designated in January 2018. The site received over 1,000 visitors from 60 foreign countries.
