Residents of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug offered to choose the subjects 2019 in the region, said Friday the Department of public and foreign relations of Ugra.

«Public discussions on current topics of 2019 in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous district, has started in Yugra», — stated in the message.

The discussions will be held in two phases: collection of input from the Ugrian people at the district portal «Open region» and online voting, which will be presented 10 of the most popular options.

«We will remind that inhabitants of the Autonomous district have traditionally been involved in determining the themes of the coming year. So, the year 2015 was determined by the Year the preservation and development of traditional arts and crafts, historical and cultural heritage, 2016 in Ugra was declared the Year of childhood, 2017 — health, and 2018 was the Year the civil consent», — noted in Department.

The regional authorities explain that these topics are taken on the basis of extensive public discussions. Traditionally, the theme for next year announced by the Governor Natalia Komarova during treatment to the residents of the Autonomous Okrug.

In November 2017, devoting this year the theme of the civil consent, the head of the Autonomous district emphasized that it is of particular value in connection with the March elections of the President of the Russian Federation.

In addition, in early 2018 in the cities and districts of Yugra was held a municipal stages of the Civil forum of public consent, devoted to the main theme of the year. Participation in them took almost 4 thousand people, among them civil activists, volunteers, representatives of public associations. Later in Khanty-Mansiysk hosted the final stage of the forum, which attracted more than 700 people. In total, the authors of social projects submitted to the Governor 140 civil initiatives.
