The Russian government has approved a bill regulating the powers of the employees of the Federal bailiff service (FSSP) of the interstate wanted list, according to the website of the Cabinet.

As previously reported, in order to ensure the implementation of international treaties of the Russian Federation regarding interstate search of persons the bill proposes to regulate the powers of the officials of the Federal bailiff service of Russia in this region.

On the website of the Cabinet of Ministers added that, under the bill, the chief bailiff of the Russian Federation proposed to give powers to organize cooperation with competent authorities of foreign States on interstate search of persons. Powers in the organization and control of officials of the Federal bailiff service on interstate search of the persons proposed to consolidate the main court enforcement officers of Russia’s regions.

In addition, the powers of judicial bailiffs is proposed to include the performance of the interstate search of persons and interaction with competent authorities of foreign States in the production of such a search.

«To approve the draft Federal law «On amendments to the Federal law «On bailiffs» in the implementation of the interstate search of persons in accordance with international treaties of the Russian Federation and submit it to the State Duma in the established procedure», — stated in the message.
