Vologda region will receive more than 800 million rubles from the Federal budget for the implementation of four education projects in 2019, reported RIA Novosti, the Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov.

«Among the best projects, selected by the Ministry of education of the Russian Federation for support from the Federal budget included four of the Vologda educational project — «the Success of every child», «Modern school», «Digital learning environment» and «the teacher of the future». The number of approved applications, the Vologda region, the Republic of Komi and the Novgorod region entered the top three leaders in the North-West of the country,» said Kuvshinnikov.

According to him, it is planned that the region will receive more than 800 million rubles. In the plans for next year — to open in Vologda the second in the field of child Technopark «Kvantorium», as well as identification and support of gifted children on the basis of the Vologda multidisciplinary Lyceum. On the profile shifts the centre will annually have a rest not less than 900 children.

All 14 special schools in the region will be equipped with classrooms on the subject of «Technology» and create conditions for the implementation of additional educational programs for children with disabilities.

In six pilot schools of Vologda, Cherepovets, Kich-Gorodok and Sami will be tested a model digital learning environment. In addition, it will create three centers continuous improvement of professional skills of teachers, and in the Vologda state University will be a center of development of modern competences of children.

«Our main goal is to bring the system of education to a qualitatively new level. Participation in national project will allow us to create new jobs, increase enrolment of children in additional education and substantial support to the talented youth», — said the head of the region.
