The public chamber of the Republic to the election day the head of the region will open a hot line for inhabitants of the Republic, where they can report violations, told journalists the Chairman of the Public chamber of the Republic of Olga Levchenko.

The second round of elections of the head is scheduled for November 11. It involves one candidate – Valentine Konovalov nominated by the regional branch of the Communist party. In the first round of elections on 9 September none of the candidates for the presidency of the Republic, including the then acting Governor of Khakassia Victor Zimin, are unable to recruit the necessary number of votes.

She added that the day of silence in the Republic there were reports of illegal campaigning.

In the first round of elections on 9 September was attended by Valentin Konovalov from the Communist party (44,81%), who held the post of the head of Khakassia Victor Zimin (32,42%), Andrey Fishin from the CP (at 11.23%) and Alexander Mahar from the Party of growth (6.61 percent). Zimin, withdrew from the elections. Later Zimin withdrew from the elections, then Filegen also withdrew his candidacy. CEC member Yevgeny Shevchenko told RIA Novosti that elections in Khakassia will be held even if there will be only one candidate. The President of Russia has appointed Mikhail Razvozhaeva acting head of the Republic of Khakassia.
