The party «Batkivshchyna» spent on advertising the electoral programs of its leader Yulia Tymoshenko a record for political power about 100 million hryvnia (over $ 3.5 million), was announced on Monday by the public organization Committee of voters of Ukraine.

According to the organization, such expenditures were a record for the party and linked to the approaching elections. By comparison, for all of 2016, the party spent only 19 million (680 million dollars) 2017 — 30 million hryvnia (more than $ 1 million), said the Committee.

It is reported that «Batkivshchyna» has spent on advertising the «New deal» Tymoshenko money received as contributions in favor of the party.

The presidential elections in Ukraine will be held in March 2019, the fall of that year should pass parliamentary elections.
