Slovenian soldiers who participated in NATO exercises Trident Juncture («a Single Trident — 2018») in Norway, complained about inappropriate weather uniform.

Slovenian defense Minister Karl Erjavec in conversation with journalists of the newspaper Delo has promised «a thorough investigation» of these complaints.

Lieutenant Colonel Uros, Trinco, commander of the Slovenian contingent for the exercise, consisting of 232 people, had earlier informed the media that many of his subordinates complained about the outfit and especially the shoes «does not protect them from the Norwegian cold and moisture.» Command acknowledged the problem but noted that frostbite and serious injuries were reported.
