Members of the gang of 12 people who wanted to commit terrorist acts in Dushanbe, was recruited by the members of the «Islamic state»* through the Internet, said RIA Novosti first Deputy Chairman of the state Committee of national security (SCNS) Mansurjon Umarov.

Earlier, a source in the national security Committee of Tajikistan has told RIA Novosti that the security services detained 12 people on suspicion of preparing terrorist attacks.

«Members of the gang had been recruited members of the Islamic state* online and gave an online oath of allegiance to ISIS*» — said Umarov.

According to him, for them conducted surveillance and arrested red-handed at the apartment of one of the group members a week ago.

«The apartment was found explosive devices, stuffing him in the form of bearings, cut nails and panels to bring explosive devices in action,» he said.

Umarov noted that the investigation is almost over and soon the case will be transferred to the court.
