The simultaneous absence of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev in the country does not prevent them to perform their duties in full due to modern communication technologies, said the press Secretary of the head of state, Dmitry Peskov.

«After all, we live in communication age, in the age of communication. Modern satellite and other means of communication, including closed, and allow the Prime Minister and the President to perform his duties almost full regardless of where they are,» said pitch to journalists, answering the question of who supervises the country in connection with foreign visits of Putin and Prime Minister Medvedev.

He also explained that the Russian leadership when planning their trips tries to avoid such situations.

«Of course, when planning trips I still try, say, to avoid such situations, as it is now, however, some clear guidelines for the inadmissibility of such does not exist», — said the representative of the Kremlin.

The Russian President and the Prime Minister on Tuesday simultaneously in foreign travel. Putin arrived on a three-day visit to Singapore, where the summit of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and East Asia summit, and Medvedev went to Palermo to participate in a conference on Libya.
