The Federal budget surplus since the beginning of the year exceeded three trillion rubles

The Federal budget surplus as of 1 November amounted to 3,048 trillion rubles, it follows from the operational report on execution of the Federal budget on the website of the Federal Treasury of the Russian Federation.

Budget revenues amounted to 15,804 trillion rubles, expenses — 12,756 trillion rubles. In November the state Duma adopted in the first reading the bill on amendments to the basic parameters of the Federal budget in 2018 and increase its surplus to 2.1% from 0.5% of GDP. The second reading is planned on November 20.

The document submitted by the Russian government increases budget revenues in the current year to 1 trillion 874,7 billion (1.3% of GDP) — up to 18 trillion 947,6 billion rubles (18.7% of GDP) with the growth of oil and gas revenues by 1 trillion 582,2 billion, non-oil and gas — 292,5 billion.

At the same time expenditure increases to 217,7 billion to 16 trillion 808,8 billion (16.6% of GDP). The budget surplus will amount to 2 trillion of 138.7 billion rubles, or 2.1% of GDP, due to rising oil and gas revenues. While the non-oil deficit of $ 6 trillion to 678.4 billion rubles, or 6.6% of GDP.
