Almost half of Russian companies think about hiring new employees in the medium term, while every fifth Russian company allows for possible reduction state, the research service HeadHunter in the course of studying expectations in the field of HR for the period from October 2018 to March 2019.

As noted in the document, which is available to RIA Novosti, in the next six months, slightly less than a third of companies (30%) do not plan any changes in the number of personnel, 31% expect to increase staff, while 13% expect that the number will soon decrease, and 9% believe in. That is, every fifth company (21%) stated about the possible decrease in the number of employees, but in total, about 44% of the companies think about hiring new employees in the medium term, the authors of the study.

Thus, according to the study, 79% increase staff due to increased workload in the normal course of business, which speaks about the revival of the economy and expectations that this situation will persist in the short term, because hiring new people is a long — term solution which usually is not accepted in unstable economic conditions. 48% increase the staff in connection with the opening of a new division or development new business. And only 9% due to seasonality.

«Companies thinking about reducing staff in the next six months, explain it to cuts and optimization of staff (68%), 43% of freezing recruitment to replace retired or gone on maternity leave, employees,» — said the authors of the study.

Assessing the situation of the company in the market overall, respondents were predominantly positive trends (57%) or stable (26%), only 14% reported that they see some negative trends. If you look at the dynamics, the evaluation remains at the level of the previous period.

At the same time, evaluating the situation of the company in the market as a whole, the representatives of the companies was talking more about a stable situation in the business.

To find out how stable and comfortable companies feel in the market, was launched monitoring of moods in HR that allows to track the dynamics — how stable and comfortable the employers feel themselves to be on the market in General and in relation to staff in particular. Monitoring is indicative of a «crisis» moments in the economy within six months.
