Long-tailed owls, crossbills-sosnowice and some waxwings arrived in Moscow on the eve of winter, told RIA Novosti press-service of the Moscow Department of nature management and environmental protection with reference to experts «Mospeada».

«Arrived long-tailed owls and crossbills-Sosnovyi also not massively, but the waxwings arrived. The exact timing of the arrival of these birds is not, as it is a long process», — told the experts.

Earlier it was reported that with the arrival of cold weather arrived in Moscow bullfinches. So, birds were seen on the territory of the Izmailovo Park, in the Bitsa forest, landscape reserves «Teply Stan», «Troparevsky» and natural reserve «Valley Setun».
