Vladimir Putin takes part in a summit of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in Singapore, where he arrived on Tuesday for a three-day visit.

In the Kremlin reported that at the meeting on Thursday to discuss regional security issues, counter-terrorism, cooperation in the sphere of healthcare and environmental protection.

Earlier, Putin had already held a number of meetings, including with President of Singapore, Halima Jacob, the Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe, South Korean President moon Jae-in, the Prime Minister of Singapore Lee Hsien Loong.

In addition, in Singapore on November 14-15 is the XIII East Asia summit. This format involves the participation of ASEAN members and Australia, India, China, New Zealand, Republic of Korea, Japan and the USA, and Russia.

The ASEAN includes the ten countries of South-East Asia: Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar and Cambodia. Among the dialogue partners of the organization includes Russia, China, USA, Japan, South Korea, Australia, India, Canada and the European Union.
