A proposal to use money from the capital repair Fund for the installation of collective antenna for the reception of digital television was made by the Governor of the Tver region Igor Rudenya.

«First, we have proposed to enshrine in law the possibility of use of a capital repair Fund for the installation of collective antenna for the reception of digital television. The second proposal is to consolidate the requirement for mandatory installation of collective antenna in the construction of new homes, including the programme of resettlement of citizens from emergency housing Fund», — told reporters Rudena after a meeting of the government of the Russian Federation, which in particular discussed the question of the transition to digital television.

In a press-service of the government of Tver region has reminded that the region was the first in Russia, which switched to digital terrestrial TV.

In the Tver region organized the information, policies to support low-income citizens.

The government of the Tver region adopted a decision on compensation to residents with low income costs for the purchase of equipment for connection to digital terrestrial TV broadcasting. Payments have already begun. All of these goals in 2018 and 2019 in the regional budget includes 6 million rubles.

The work involved volunteers who help older people to connect and set up equipment. To provide operational support to the residents of a Single information centre RTRS and «hot line» the Ministry of economic development of the region.
