The Federal Antimonopoly service (FAS) has undergone to hacker attack, told RIA Novosti press-service of the Department.

«It was a full-fledged hacking. Started with mass mailings to addresses FAS virus that steals service logins and passwords,» said the Agency interlocutor.

He added that while hackers attacked the information resources of the FAS and suggested that the goal was a break-in.

«The attack» began on Wednesday evening, and affected both the Central office and territorial bodies.

On Thursday morning, the chief of Department of public relations of the Ministry Irina Kashunina announced on his page in Facebook that the attackers have created for the FAS personal virus.

To the post she attached a screenshot of viral emails, where the sender is the Federal Antimonopoly Service, written in the subject: «the Federal Antimonopoly service shares with you a file» and in the body: «ATTENTION! Your document is stored in the queue. Please download and log in to release the documents.» The letter also attached a file with the name Axigen WebMail.htm. Kashulina urged not to open notice.

The security responded promptly. A few hours later it became known that the attack stopped, no data loss.
