Federal criminal charges of hate brought against 51-year-old Gregory Bush, who Oct 24, shot and killed two blacks in a supermarket in Kentucky, reported the U.S. Department of justice.

Bush is accused of two murders and one attempted murder with a motive of racial hatred.

Bush could face the death penalty or life imprisonment, the Ministry of justice has not yet decided whether to seek capital punishment.

Bush, who is a white man, tried to get into the Church, which is attended by predominantly African Americans. When the entrance to the Church was closed, he shot a woman in the supermarket and a man near the building a supermarket, injuring one person.

According to the latest FBI crimes motivated by hatred has grown in the US, 17% in 2017.
