Program subsidized shipments to the far East extended in the whole country, they will operate throughout the year, said Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev at a meeting with acting Governor of Primorsky Krai Oleg Kozhemyako at the airport of Vladivostok.

«I would like to inform you that also applies to other areas of DFO… I have signed a decree that expands the program to subsidize transportation to the far East in the whole country. We will provide more subsidies that can be used all year round, not for a certain time,» — said Medvedev.

«We have expanded the social category of people affected by the subsidies now come and large families,» — said Medvedev.

Reduced fares apply on routes to cities in the Far East, Kaliningrad and Simferopol. Under the current rules right to purchase tickets at a special rate available to citizens over the age of 23 years, citizens over the age of 60 years for men and over 55 for women, citizens with disabilities of the first group of any age and his or her companion and the person accompanying a disabled child, and disabled from childhood of the second or third group.
