The cars of a freight train carrying propane derailed in the American city Byromville (GA) and fell off a bridge on a highway, the local authorities decided to evacuate the city’s population, reports WMAZ-TV.

According to TV channel, the incident occurred on Saturday, November 17, after 7 am local time (15.00 GMT). The train consisted of two locomotives, 72 69 loaded and empty wagons, drove across the bridge over the highway when from 15 to 30 wagons derailed and fell on the road.

In some of the wrecked cars were propane.

As told the TV station the fire chief, the evacuation has affected almost the entire city. The population Byromville approximately 500 people.

It is noted that as a result of incident nobody has suffered.
