The investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case on the fact of death of four children after a fire in Tula on Wednesday, according to the official website of the RF IC.

«Investigative agencies of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Tula region opened a criminal case on the fact of discovery of the bodies of four children after a fire that occurred on November 21 in an apartment house, located at the regiment’s passage of the city of Tula, for the crime of «Causing death by negligence to two or more persons», — stated in the message.

Earlier it was reported that the fire occurred in an apartment in Tula at the Garrison passage Wednesday in 22.17.

As specified in SUS’k in the Tula region, investigators and criminologists at the scene found that the victims of the fire were young children who were home with the woman, one of the children was a foster child.

«Appointed forensic examination to study the bodies of the victims, fire-technical examination, question witnesses, conducted of all necessary investigative actions directed on establishment of circumstances of incident», — informs investigatory management.
