Severo-the Caucasian district military court on Thursday sentenced to 15 years in a strict regime penal colony the former head of the Kizlyar district of Dagestan Andrei Vinogradov for a number of serious and particularly serious crimes, the correspondent of RIA Novosti news from the courtroom.

«On set of crimes by partial addition to assign to Vinogradov 15 years of imprisonment with punishment serving in a colony of strict regime with restriction of liberty for a term of 2 years,» said the presiding judge in the case.

According to the court, Vinogradov was charged with encroachment on life of law enforcement officer, financing terrorism and aiding and abetting in the infringement of life of law enforcement officer and aiding and abetting in the attempted murder. Presumably, the crimes he committed in the period from January 2004 to August 2010.

As reported by the RF IC case was brought after the murder in 2010, Deputy head of the center for combating extremism of the interior Ministry for Dagestan, and the assassination of the Deputy head of the administration of Kizlyar. The latter testified against Vinogradova, claiming that the attack happened after his run-ins with Vinogradov at the rally in Kizlyar. In early February of this year Severo-the Caucasian district military court began hearing the merits of the case. Vinogradov has declared that does not plead guilty to any of the incriminated articles. Prosecutor in the debate, asked the court to appoint Vinogradov 13 years of strict regime colony.
