The President of the United States Donald trump claims that the «fake media» blamed the lower prices on gasoline.

«With fake media impossible to win. Today’s big news: due to the fact that I pushed so hard and achieved such low gasoline prices, more people drive cars, and I caused a congestion on the roads all across our great country. I apologize to all!» — trump wrote on Twitter.

In the United States on Thursday celebrated a national holiday — thanksgiving. Many Americans these days go on long trips to visit family members in other cities.

The decline in oil prices and as a consequence on the gasoline is beneficial for consumers and for industry, but bad for those who produces and sells oil. USA are the world’s largest oil producer, slightly ahead of Russia and Saudi Arabia, and the leading consumer of oil and petroleum products.

The price of oil this week plunged more than 6%, but later recovered on hopes that Saudi Arabia may not hold the promise of reducing production. Trump is seeking from oil producers, including Saudi Arabia, the decline in world prices.
