Iran and Russia discussed the establishment of a tourism message on the Caspian sea, said Minister of roads and urban development of Iran Mohammad Eslami.

«One of the proposals announced by us in the negotiations with the Minister of transport of Russia (Eugene Dietrich — ed.) was the creation of a marine tourism message, so we can carry passengers by sea between the ports of Iran and Russia», — he said Sputnik Iran.

The Minister noted that the Russian side welcomed this proposal.

According to him, the launch of the joint communications of passenger ships on the Caspian sea will largely help the development of tourism and increase tourist traffic between Iran and Russia. He stated the development of air links and the growth of tourist traffic between Russia and Iran, noting that Iranian tour operators are also interested in the direct flights between Tehran and Sochi.
