Deputy Minister of agriculture of the Russian Federation Ivan Lebedev considers that some of the agricultural universities, you can optimize the costs by reducing the number of Vice-chancellors and getting rid of unnecessary cars.

All-Russian meeting to discuss the prospects of development of agrarian education and science, held on Friday in Krasnodar. There are 54 rectors of leading agricultural universities in Russia.

«Look again at its system of cost optimization. Today we are somewhere on separate sites of the universities by 30 million a year to pay, heating the street. … Where we have an inordinate number of Vice-rectors, offices, cars and everything else that accompanies the load. This is absolutely wrong. Need to focus on education, science, application and business, so the system costs need to follow», — said Lebedev at the meeting.

Earlier it was reported about the plans of the Ministry of agriculture to introduce new approaches in the evaluation of agricultural universities that would convert some low-rating schools in the branches leading specialized universities.
