The participants of the protest action against rising fuel prices («yellow jackets»), Paris head in the direction of the presidential Palace of the Elysee Palace, the correspondent of RIA Novosti from the event.

The procession is accompanied by smoke bombs, whistles and drums. Claps and the sound of broken glass.

The movement called «yellow jackets» on Saturday holds in France, massive protests against rising fuel prices. According to recent reports, the nationwide demonstrations attended by about 23 thousand, including 8 thousand in Paris, of which 5 thousand — on the Champs Elysees. Demonstration in Paris accompanied by riots and clashes with police.

Large-scale protests against the increase in fuel prices began in France on November 17. The movement against the increase in fuel prices was called «yellow jackets» on obligatory attribute of French drivers — yellow reflective tabard.

Gasoline prices in France from 1 January expected to grow by 2.9 cents, diesel by 6.5 cents per litre. According to the radio station Europe1, for 2018 the price of diesel fuel increased by approximately 23%, gasoline by 15%.
