The electoral Commission of Primorye decided to deny registration to four of the nominated candidates for the post of Governor of the region, thus, in the elections of the head of region will be involved 5 people, said Saturday at a briefing the Chairman of the electoral Committee Tatyana Gladkih.

On Saturday at the meeting of the electoral Commission addressed the issues on registration of candidates in governors of the independent candidate-Communist Andrey Ishchenko, Oleg Mitvol of the Green party, the independent candidate Alexander Kovalenko and Viktor Staritsyn from the «Communist party of social justice».

«Already finished the consideration of all questions connected with registration of candidates… Documents on registration have submitted only 11 candidates,» he said smoothly.

«Was unable to be candidates Andreichenko, Kozhemyako, Stepanenko, Timchenko, V. Chemerys. The remaining made a decision… that not enough signatures for registration,» she added.

Earlier, the electoral Commission reported that the test provided the candidates of the documents revealed that Ishchenko and Mitvol is not enough valid signatures municipal deputies and heads of districts for the passage of the municipal filter, and Kovalenko and Staritsyn initially provided less than the required number of signatures. Thus, the election Commission took decisions on all 11 nominated candidates who applied within the prescribed period.

Informed registration refused two independents — Paul Mihailichenkovo and Viktor Vasilyev. The Primorye electoral Commission has registered candidates in governors of Igor Stepanenko («Patriots of Russia»), the independent candidate, acting Governor of Primorsky Krai Oleg Kozhemyako, Rose Chemerys from the party «For women of Russia» Alexey Timchenko from the Party of growth and state Duma Deputy Andrei Andreychenko of liberal democratic party.

Earlier, the election Committee of Primorye, on the recommendation of the CEC invalidated the results of the September elections of the head region. New elections will be held on December 16.
