The interior Minister of France Christophe Castaner reported that in the protests in France on Saturday was attended by more than 100 thousand people, reports channel BFMTV.

The movement called «yellow jackets» on Saturday, holds massive protests against rising fuel prices all over France.

As reported by Castaner, to the protests on Saturday came more than 106 thousand «yellow jackets.»

Earlier it was reported that on demonstrations across the country, there are about 81 thousand, including 8 thousand in Paris, of which 5 thousand — on the Champs Elysees.

Gasoline prices in France from 1 January expected to grow by 2.9 cents, diesel by 6.5 cents per litre. According to the radio station Europe1, for 2018 the price of diesel fuel increased by approximately 23%, gasoline by 15%.
