The death toll in the crash of the ship on lake Victoria in Uganda has reached 23, according to local newspaper Daily Monitor.

Previously reported ten dead, more than 40 people were saved.

According to the publication, there are still many missing. The exact number of passengers is not known, according to reports, on Board were over a hundred people.
