In Iraqi Kurdistan during the earthquake in the Iran-Iraq border killed one person, injured dozens, according to the Rudaw TV channel, citing a Joint statement of the coordination centre for crisis situations of the Kurdistan regional government.

The death of a man and 43 of the victims recorded in the city of Kellar the province of Sulaymaniyah in northeast Iraq.

The European Mediterranean seismological centre (EMSC) reported that an earthquake with magnitude of 6.3 occurred near the Iran-Iraq border. According to seismologists, tremors were recorded at 16.37 in UTC time (19.37 GMT), the earthquake lies at a depth of ten kilometers. The epicenter was located 150 kilometers North-East of Baghdad and 37 kilometers from the town of Céré-Field-Sahab.
