Russia and India have great potential for growth of mutual trade and investment, it is necessary to use the proven and effective tools, and the new, which will create favorable conditions for businesses of the two countries, says the greeting message of the President of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to participants of the first Russian-Indian strategic economic dialogue.

«Russia and India are linked by strong, time-tested traditions of friendship and mutual respect. We managed to build a very privileged economic partnership based on trust and open dialogue on a wide range of issues», — stated in the greeting of the President, which was read by the participants of the forum the Minister of economic development of Russia Maxim Oreshkin.

Everything becomes more intense and business agenda, including cooperation in such areas as industry, Finance and advanced technologies, the statement reads.

«Positive dynamics is shown today and our sales turnover is another sign of the growing mutual interest of business circles of Russia and India. We have the ability to consistently move forward, to strengthen the economic Foundation of our relations. It is necessary to increase contacts in all areas», — said Putin.

It is important to make full use of already working, proven tools and look for new solutions that seek to eliminate barriers to trade and investment, to create favorable conditions for businesses, said the President.

«I am confident that the annual Russian-Indian strategic economic dialogue will be another important step in this direction, it will allow for a consistent start not only a discussion of future plans and ideas, but the launch of mutually beneficial initiatives,» is the message.
