The constitutional court of Ingushetia has gone beyond its powers in considering the case on administrative border of the region of Chechnya, said the lawyer, Yunus-Bek Yevkurov Alexander Orlov at a meeting of the constitutional court.

«The constitutional court of the Republic of Ingushetia in the study of this issue was beyond its competence. In considering this issue, the constitutional court of the Republic of Ingushetia have been violated fundamental principles of the judicial process,» — said Orlov at the meeting of the COP consideration of the request Yevkurov on the agreement of the border of Ingushetia and Chechnya.

Yevkurov and Kadyrov on 26 September signed an agreement on the border between the two regions, which provides for an equivalent exchange of territories. The parliaments of Chechnya and Ingushetia approved this agreement. Kadyrov stated that it considers closed the issue about the border with Ingushetia: «the law was passed, the agreement was signed». In this case the constitutional court of Ingushetia said that the agreement can be approved only by a referendum.

Russia’s constitutional court on Tuesday is considering a request Yevkurov about the verification of constitutionality of the agreement on the establishment of the border between Ingushetia and Chechnya, as well as the law, approved this agreement.
