Robotic dairy complex with 544 goals opened on Friday at the stud farm «Rodina» in the village Karachevo the Vologda region, told RIA Novosti the Governor of the region Oleg Kuvshinnikov.

«Modern dairy complex created using the latest technologies in dairy cattle: loose housing of cows from the milking stations and robots, ensuring the computerization of the milking process, identification of zootechnical and veterinary accounting, preparation and distribution of balanced across all components of forages using the mobile dispensers. In the complex — a barn on 544 head with a milk unit, eight robotic milkers,» said Kuvshinnikov.

According to the Governor, the new complex will allow to increase the number of breeding flocks on the 300 head, total milk production of seven tons a day, to improve milk quality, reduce the cost of production.

The Governor noted that the complex was built in a relatively short time, it took about a year. The project was implemented with state support, in particular, the company was granted a Federal subsidy for a loan under the program of preferential crediting.

«Such farms as we opened today, units in the world. I am sure that in the future these advances will allow us to maintain the highest brand of the Vologda region, as the milk region,» said Kuvshinnikov.

He recalled that Plemzavod Rodina — one of the largest livestock enterprises in the region. It is 5.5 thousand heads of cattle, the performance is almost 20 thousand milk production per year.
