About 500 thousand people from different regions will take part in the international project «history of the Fatherland» on Friday, said the Vice-speaker of the state Duma Pyotr Tolstoy.

In the State Duma on Friday was the fourth international event «Test in the history of the Fatherland», the main theme of the test was the 25th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Russian Federation.

«Today history test will write roughly half a million people from different regions, 7,5 thousand sites will be involved in today’s event… Today’s event is an opportunity to think again about who we are, where we came from, how our history, the history of our families, our parents, our grandparents, connected with the history of our country. And it is this connection that determines the future of this country», — said Vice-speaker of the state Duma, addressing the participants.

The politician stressed that young people need to understand this historical relationship, as they have to make decisions regarding the future of the country.

«Not knowing the history, not understanding the motives and actions of previous generations, who have created the greatest country in the world, which gave us reason to be proud of their courage, their resilience, their deeds, to realize their mistakes, which, of course, was also, there can be no movement forward is impossible that the big leap forward that our President said in his message, and impossible quality of life change for the better», — said the MP.

Chairman of the Youth Parliament, the State Duma Maria Voropaeva reminded the participants of the test that the action began as all — Russia- 2015, it was attended by about 80 thousand people. «Today, the event has become international, covering several dozen countries and all regions of Russia. Already about 150 thousand people were tested online on the website «Every day, proud of Russia». We really did not expect such coverage,» said Voropayeva.
